1. If you could, would you go back to high school?

Yes, I would change so much about it!!!!

I was a little party girl and didn't take a lot too serious! So I would for sure change all of that, and probably wouldn't have been friends with some of the people that I chose to hang out with! Girl Drama!! UGH

2. If a genie appeared and granted you two wishes, what would they be? (And, no saying "more wishes".)

That my family be healthy and happy FOREVER!! And I would also want an undisclosed amout of money!!

I know that we could use a bigger house, my husband could use a new car, and we could both use a vacation!!! :)

3. What kids show do you secretly like?

Wizards of Waverly Place! I know cheesy. I am so tired of Spongebob, Dora, Diego, and all of the others. iCarly wasn't too bad, but when all of the characters start growing up, it gets a little wierd to watch!

4. What is your beverage of choice?

Ice Tea, Coke, or water. I have only had a few alcoholic drinks this year, when Scott and I went to OKC for our night o fun. But if i had to choose my fav alcoholic drink it would be Bud Light, I know, I am a beer girl! No froo froo drinks for me!!

5. What is something that you would change about yourself (or are working to change in yourself)?

I would love to be more assertive, I feel like I give in a lot, and I really need to put my foot down more often and stand up for myself!!!

We are sooo happy to be coaching Nick's team again this season! They are doing so good! We have not lost a game yet!!! I will be posting tons more pictures soon!!!

Alex's 8th Birthday Party

We had Alex's 8th birthday party at the YMCA again this year! It is perfect!! The kids were able to swim for a while, until someone, (not with our group) puked in the pool, and they closed it down! We then moved into the party room! The kids, and some parents, love it. The room has a ton of balls in it, so we all have a blast throwing them around. And hey, it works great for wearing all of these kids out!!

Welcome to the Nut House!!

Maxx is our crazy dog who is part kangaroo! He gets sooo excited and just jumps all over the place. We really are working with him to calm it down! But it is kinda fun to watch him pounce all over the place!

Birthday Sleepover!

Alex's Birthday was on a Thursday this year, with NO school the next day. So we had a very spontanious sleepover! He had 3 friends come over to stay the night, plus Nick and Mason! It was very crazy! I do not think they went to sleep until 2 am, and then they woke up so early! They all had such a fun time and it really is neat to have the boys and all of their friends over to play!!

BUbbly Boys

Bath time is always an adventure..nightly...in our house! I have tried just about everything to make it easier on myself to get all 3 boys bathed in 30 minutes and hopefully have some hot water left over. When Mason was smaller I would put him in my tub and both bigger boys in the shower, all at the same time. 3 birds with one stone kind of a thing. Then realized how much water was being used between the 3 of them, plus Scott and I. So now that Mason is older, I just have the 3 boys take a bath together for now. It's messy, and someone is always mad at someone else for stealing toys! Good times!!! But hey at least we are saving water now, right!! :)

Snowman

Mason and I decided to go outside one afternoon and build ourselves a snowman. We were so happy with the way it was turning out. We were showing it off to Scott and the boys, thinking they would be happy for him too.

Little did we know, they had plans! Neighbors started coming over....

Then BAM, the whole thing blew up!

Boys and fireworks.....you just can't win!!

Concert Pictures!

John Mayer

My wonderful husband suprised me with tickets to the John Mayer concert in OKC for Valentines Day!! Yeah, I know, pretty amazing!

Scott and I had not left Mason over night in close to 2 years! And I don't think we have had a babysitter for Alex and Nick in 5 years or so. Needless to say, we needed a night out! Alex and Nick were at their dads for the weekend and Mason stayed the night with our fantastic friends, who adore Mason and have seen him daily since his birth!

Scott and I headed to OKC for the night! We found our hotel, got ready, ate dinner, and headed to the concert! It was GREAT!! John Mayer rocks it on the guitar!! He is so good!! The Ford Center was packed and it was just such a fun time! After it was over we headed to Murphy's Piano Bar and continued our night of fun! We laughed and enjoyed ourselves! It was so nice to get away even if just for 20 hours and have some adult time and enjoy each others company. We decided that we are going to have to get out more often than every 2 years!!!

Basketball

Ok, I am so far behind on blogging, I feel bad, really I do!!

Nick started playing basketball this year at the YMCA, he loved it! He did so well this season and we were so happy to be there to cheer him on! The age range was a little odd for the teams though. The ages varied from 4-6 on a team. Nick really keeps us on our toes with all of his sports. We went from Basketball straight into soccer, and t-ball is next!!

Alex Turns ~8~

I can't believe that my "baby" is already 8 years old!

The years have just flown by, especially since he has 2 younger brothers.

Alex is such a smart kid, no seriously, he has taken an IQ test and he is reallllly smart!

He is always wanting to learn, and is very hands on! I am the exact same way!

He enjoys Star Wars, Wii, playing with friends, legos, and sometimes reading!

Alex was so suprised that we got him a BB gun for his birthday! He was very happy!!!

I just hope that the next 8 years don't fly by like these have, because he will be 16 then.....oh my~

5 question Friday

I love the whole idea of the 5 Question Friday. I think it is a neat way to get to know me, with all of the random questions! I hope that you enjoy reading them! If you are a fellow blogger, jump in and join in!!!

1. What are you most afraid of?

Anything terrible happening to my family! As a mother, I try and protect them from everything bad. I try and keep them healthy, happy, educated, in good shape, and so on, but somethings are just out of our hands. I pray that my family remains happy and healthy!

2. Do you use a flat iron or curling iron?

I use a flat iron! Up until last May when I had the horrifying incident with highlighting my own hair, I didn't use anything! But now since I am maintaining this short hair style, I have to use a flat iron or my hair is a fluffy mess!!

3. Hands-free or phone to the ear?

Phone to the ear, I cannot talk on speaker phone or not have control of the phone, makes me crazy!!

4. Do you have a matching bedroom set?

We do!! We bought it when I was pregnant with Mason! Love it!

5. Do you believe in the paranormal?

No, all of the new ghost hunter shows on TV these days drive me nuts!!!

Five Question Friday

1. Would you ever vacation alone?

No, I hate being alone, I would not know what to do all by myself!!! Plus I would like to enjoy a vacation with my husband and kids!!

2. Do you go the speed limit?

Why of course I do, when my radar detector beeps at me and lets me know that I need to!! :)

3. Why did you start blogging/following blogs?

I think it is neat to document day to day thing in my life and with my kids! We get to busy sometimes to really reflect on life and this gives me a chance. It is also great for all of those out of town relatives to keep up!

4. Where do you shop for yourself?

Where ever my mom takes me!! Really, I just do not buy things for myself!!

5. What was the song that you danced your first dance with your spouse to at your wedding...or...what song would you like your first dance to be to?

Keith Urban's Making Memories of us. I loved that song and still do!!! We had the best wedding!!!

Dear John

I finished reading this book last night. I really enjoyed it. The story line was amazing and completely turned from what I thought was going to be a happy ending to something else so different, but yet still happy!! I wanted to read this book after I saw the trailer for the movie. I usually try to do that because most of the time the book is so much better than the movie! I can not wait to watch the movie now, I will for sure have to take some tissue along with me!!
