Emma

Emma is my neighbors daughter! She and the boys have all but grown up together! She is turning into such a little lady! She is surrounded by so many boys, but that doesn't slow her down! This girl will jump right out there with them, no matter what they are doing! Emma can even jump her bike on the curbs! Can't wait to see what the world has in store for Miss Emma!

Buddies

Andy and Mason attempted to go for a wagon ride yesterday. Poor Scott had high expectations for this also. These little guys are way too busy to take a leisurely ride in a wagon! But aren't they so cute! I really tried to get them to look at me at the same time, but it just wasn't in the cards!

Races

Everyone line up!
Uh-Oh, Scott had to remind everyone not to kick off against the neighbors garage....

And they are off! I just love where we live! Everyday after school all of the kids come out to play! The boys have friends that come over and play as well. It is pretty chaotic in our cul-de-sac at times, but it is fun! The kids had a great time racing down the driveway yesterday. Even Mason joined in on his scooter!

Healthy Nick

Nick is my healthy eater! He will eat any fruit, almost any vegetable, and he loves fish! I am lucky to have 1 kid that is not super picky! Apples and Tuna are 2 of his favorites! I know I have a kid that would rather eat Tuna and crackers than fruit snacks!!! Wonder where he got that from?? :)

My little bunny!

Mason found these bunny ears in either his room or one of the boys! He was so funny with these things on the other day that I had to take a picture! My little ham...I mean bunny!!

Alex and reading

Alex has become a pretty good reader. Now that he is in 2nd grade reading is a huge part of class! He is taking Accelerated Reading tests almost daily. He has to have a total of 7 points at the end of the 9 weeks. And with each book counting at 1/2 a point, he is busy every night getting through a new book, so that he can take a test the next day! He has never "loved" to read. He knows how and will read when it is something that interests him. But to read for fun, is totally out of the question.
I am avid reader! I am always reading a book and always have a book on cd in my car! I know I am a dork, but I think that reading is my escape! Always has been! I remember how excited I used to get when I got to buy new books. I would go home and read the whole book in 1 night...then not have anything to read! I still do that now! I read The Pact by Jodi Picoult in a little over 1 day. I love her books by the way! So hopefully at least 1 of the 3 boys will have my passion for reading!

Mason and his bike

Mason loves to ride! He is doing so good learning how to ride his bike! Although most of the time he just pushes it around.
I can't believe he is 2! Time has gone by so fast! He amazes me everyday!
Here is what Mason is up to now!
-He can climb anything! He climbs onto the counters by using the drawer pulls as a ladder!
-He repeats everything you say! Then at some random time he will make a statement using those words!
-He sleeps in a toddler bed and has since his birthday! No problems at all!!!!!
-He is trying to learn to use the potty!!! So exciting for me!
-He LOVES to be outside!
-Mason adores his big brothers! He misses them when they are gone on the weekends, and is so excited for them to come home! He tries to do everything they do!
-Mason can catch a ball! He loves to play ball! He is also quite the soccer player!
-His FAVORITE show is Backyardigans! He is obsessed with them! Especially Pablo!
-He really likes motorcycles! He calls them "cycles".
Mason is a special little guy who is full of life! He makes friends everywhere he goes and definitely gets attention from everyone! He has the funniest facial expressions and makes me laugh everyday!

New Red Scooter

Scott and I decided Mason needed a new scooter for his Birthday! He loves it!! He will not let anyone besides Jaden touch it!!! What a funny little boy! Happy Birthday Big Boy!!!

Happy 2nd Birthday Mason!!!

Happy Birthday sweet boy!!! I cannot believe that he is already 2! Time has flown by way too fast. I think the more kids you have the faster it goes! Mason is so full of life! He is so much fun. Scott and I...along with our neighbors sure have enjoyed watching Mason grow and develop into his funny little self these past 2 years! I am so excited to see what my little man has in store for the next few years. I better keep him under my wing a little longer, won't be too much longer and he will be off to school!
Thank you to all of our neighbors, who are so much more like family than friends! You all are so very important to us and Mason! He loves all of his presents!!! We are so lucky to have you all in our lives!! :)

Big Boy Bike

We pulled Nick's 1st bike out of the attic the other day, just to see if Mason could finally fit it...and sure enough, perfect fit! He is doing pretty good considering he is just now 2! Scott is sure he will be riding w/out training wheels within the year! So we will see, after all Nick took off his training wheels when he had just turned 4! So here we go....

Scootin' around

Mason has been obsessed with the older boys scooter. He finally figured it out and he LOVES it! He actually rides it correctly and there is no getting him off of it until he is ready...oh and he really dislikes anyone else to touch it....EVER! I am amazed at what he can do so early on. I am sure it is because he tries so hard to keep up with his big brothers!!

Alex

I am soooo proud of Alex! He is doing such an amazing job in 2nd grade! It was an adjustment for all of us this year! He gets grade now!!! He has alot more homework than he did last year! He loves his class mates and his teacher as well! I am so excited to see what this year has in store for Mr. Alex!

Rockets

Alex and Nick really enjoy shooting off rockets. And I have to admit that Scott and I like it also. We are really good at shooting them off, not so good at finding the rocket to shoot off again. So right now we are 0-3 on rockets!
Nick enjoyed running around kicking up dirt more so than the rockets this last time.
It is an educational adventure that we can do as a family! Can't beat that!!

Crazy Kid

Mason LOVES helmets!!! He will run around the house all day wearing one! As you can see also we were attempting to potty train him....it didn't work! We are so entertained by Mason on a daily basis. He is one of the funniest kids that I have ever seen. He has 2,456 facial expressions that he knows how to use at just the right time! He is a true comedian that keeps us all laughing!!

Bye "E"

Hayley left for college!! Tuck and Tina had a nice dinner for her and all the neighbors were there. It was a nice and relaxing evening (even with Hunter and Darrin acting like fools). Mason and Hayley have formed a very strong bond with each other, and I think it was hard for both of them to let go. Mason has a thing for Hayley's headbands, which he is known to break....but he replaces them :). We are excited about this new chapter in Hayley's life! Way to go Eeeeeeeeeeee!!

First Day of School

The first day of school this year was so bitter/sweet! I am always excited for my boys to learn new things and make new friends, however, I miss them when they are gone!
Alex started 2nd grade....I am still in denial! And Nick started Kindergarten! He is now left the nest for all day Kindergarten! I really enjoyed spending 1/2 the day last year with Nick, but he is loving school. He is making new friends, having play dates, and learning new things! I couldn't be happier for my boys! They are so handsome and smart, I am one lucky Mom!!

Swimming

The boys L-O-V-E to swim!! Since Scott's parents were in B,ville for the weekend with the girls we stopped on by the hotel to let all the kids swim! Alli and Madi are 9, so all the kids are within 3 years age difference...with the exception of Mason. They all get along great, considering they don't get to see each other very often at all. They had a great time and I enjoyed watching them play.

Ice Cream Truck

We love it that the Ice Cream Truck finally comes down into our cul de sac....there is a downfall to this though, they seem to come all the time now, and at 5:30.....before dinner! We can not deprive our poor boys of ice cream, sno cones, or fudgecicles....so we get them ice cream before dinner.

Our neices came down with Scott's parents one weekend and they were able to indulge with the boys. They had a great time attempting to keep up with the boys!

Mason and Jaden

Mason and his BFF Jaden love to play together! They are so funny and entertaining to watch! Jaden is 4 months to the day older than Mason but they keep up with each other no problem at all. They get along so well and only share with each other...and that is pretty amazing considering they are 2! We are so lucky to have such great neighbors! Our kids are lucky to have such great friends as well!

Stone Canyon

We took the boys out to Stone Canyon lake one afternoon to run around and check things out! They all loved it! Mason had a blast running and climbing around. This is such a nice area, which we hope to build a house in a few years! Of course I was running around after all 3 boys trying to take some pictures! I have some very active kids!!
