Ram Rally Pt. 2

I was so excited that while I was watching Nick's class lead Ram Rally, Mrs. Morris, the principal acknowledged the 2nd graders that have made it into Facts Masters Club. ( It is a math club where you have to correctly answer 100 math problems in a given amount of time). Alex made it into the 6 minute club!! I was so proud of him and so lucky to be there for my boys on they're special days!!! I was such a proud Mom this morning!! I love my boys!!

Snow

Mason loves to play in the snow! He was so excited all he would talk about was a snowman, for days and days!!! He has a super great daddy who doesn't mind the cold weather and played with him forever in the snow! They made a snowman, sledded down the hill and flopped around! Mason is for sure a snow, Christmas, lights, hot coco kind of kid!!

Christmas Eve

Santa arrived this year on Christmas Eve morning, because the boys were leaving that night to spend the holiday in Bartlesville. I think that Santa was pretty good to the boys this year and they got everything that was on their lists!!! :)

Mason really didn't know what to think about all of the presents! This was the first year that he was actually able to participate in un-wrapping gifts! He really liked it!

Nick got the whole Trio set for the King's Castle and all the extras that went along with it! He was excited! Thanks Nana and Papa!!
Daddy helping Mason open some new dinosaurs from Nana and Papa!!

Checking out Nick's new golf clubs from Nana and Papa!!

Wow, Santa brought Alex a real compound bow!!!

What a happy boy!

Pretty big smile on his face when he saw OSU!!

Our tree with all the gifts from my parents! They came over and we had Christmas with them later that same day. It was so nice to not have to load up all the kids and travel, especially since the weather was so terrible!! Big thanks to my parents for coming to us!!!

Mason loves to open "Santa Clause Presents"!!

Ram Rally

Nick's class led Ram Rally this morning, Nick had a line that he had to speak in front of the younger grades. I was so proud of him, he did such an amazing job!! He for sure does not get his speaking in front of a crowd skills from me, I am terrible at it!! We are proud of you Nick!!

Don't let him fool ya!

He looks like such an innocent little guy, he can be sometimes......I just love that I captured his innocence, even if it is just a teeny little part of what makes him so amazing!!

Rhema

We took the boys to Rhema this year, first time for the boys and myself! I loved it!!! I thought it was so cool that all the lights were in sync to the music!! I am a huge fan of Christmas and lights and this won me over!!! We will definitely make this a new tradition for our family!!

Nick's class party!

Both boys have their classroom holiday parties at the same time, so I have to be creative and split up my time so I can visit both classes. Nick's class had snacks and drinks, and made these adorable reindeer hats! They are so cute and easy to make!! I am so lucky Nick has such a wonderful teacher and a great group of mom helpers to make this such a special time for them!!

Alex’s Class Party

Alex’s class party was at the same time as Nick’s so I had to split my time up and visit both. Alex’s class was a little bit more rambunctious than Nick’s!

They were working on a cute Santa craft and I helped Alex finish his, and he stole my camera and went around taking pictures of the class. Some of them started acting goofy! Fun times with the kids!!

What I am reading!

I started reading this series of books in 2005. They are an alpabetical series! I have loved reading these books for the very first one!
Sue Grafton does such a wonderful job with her character in the book, a private investigator, Kinsey Millhone. I am sure that if you start reading these books you will be hooked!!
It's April, 1988, a month before Kinsey Millhone's 38th birthday and she's alone in her office doing paperwork when a young man arrives unannounced. He has a preppy air about him and looks as if he'd be carded if he tried to buy booze, but Michael Sutton is 27, an unemployed college drop-out. Twenty-one years before, a four-year old girl disappeared. A recent reference to her kidnapping has triggered a flood of memories. Sutton now believes he stumbled on her lonely burial when he was six years old. He wants Kinsey's help in locating the child’s remains and finding the men who killed her. It’s a long shot but he's willing to pay cash up front and Kinsey agrees to give him one day. As her investigation unfolds, she finds out Michael Sutton has an uneasy relationship with the truth. In essence, he's the boy who cried wolf. Is his current story true or simply one more in a long line of fabrications?

Christmas pictures!

So I thought I was off the hook with taking the boys Christmas pictures this year! A friend of mine was coming over to take them, and finally I could be in the picture with them.....so didn't happen that way, she called last minute with a migraine and had to cancel. I was bound and determined to get a picture to get our cards out in time. So I already had everyone dressed, I was going to do this myself!!! I started with Alex, smooth sailing, even had time for some silly ones. Nick and Mason were next, still went ok! Now time for all 3 together under the tree. I do not know how I did it but I snapped away and got lucky, the very first one I took of the 3 of them was the winner, they went down hill fast from there! So ta-da, I did it and I am very pleased with how they turned out!
