Five Question Friday

1. Worst trouble you ever got into as a teenager?
Um, I really never got into alot of trouble, because I never got caught!!! :)
Seriously, I was that good!!
Or I just didn't have alot of rules to follow...
2. Are you a morning person or a night person?
I am so much of a night owl it is crazy scary, I always have been.
My mom has pictures of me in the morning when I was a kid, with lets say not so much of a smile on my face!
I dread mornings! I wish school started around noon! That would be ideal!!
3. Are you a one-handed or a two-handed Texter?
One, I can't seem to get the 2 handed texting figured out!
4. Democrat, Republican, or Independent..or maybe even Green Party (whatever that is).
Ugh politics....I just want a president that is really about fixing our country and not out to see what they can gain for themselves!! If they are Democrats, Republicans, a pig, goat, or horse, I don't care!! Just fix it!!
5. Are you a pet person?
I have grown up with dogs and horses. Santa brought each of the boys Beagle puppies a few years ago and ended up very badly. Apparently 2 male dogs from the same litter isn't such a good idea FYI. We are browsing for the right dog at the moment. So stay tuned to see if we gain a new family member!!

I &hearts faces week 2

Tomorrow, i faces celebrates their 1st birthday! Happy Birthday! To celebrate, they have a new logo and a fun theme this week. The theme is "Best Face Photo," which is fitting since we all faces! ;) The photo has to have been taken in December 2009 or January 2010, and must focus on a face!
I took this picture of Mason when I was attempting the boys Christmas pictures! He looks so innocent!!!

Latest Read

I randomly chose this book for my Reader one afternoon, not even really knowing what it was about. Once I got into it a bit, I remembered what I was reading about. A few years ago there was a pregnancy pack in a high school. You can refresh your memory here . Very good book, especially if you are a mother to girls!

Halo blocks

Alex received the WHOLE entire Halo series of blocks this year. Like 10 boxes worth of these things that take like 600 pieces to make tanks, planes, etc.
So Alex and I have been working on them here and there and we actually have some finished. This is where we started!

Trio blocks

Nick got these blocks from my parents for Christmas, I think they are pretty neat!! He really enjoys playing with them and so do Scott and I! This is just one of the 6 sets he got, they are all castle themed and so much fun!

5 question Friday

Mama Ms Five Question Friday! 1/8/10

1. What's your "comfort food"?
I think it would have to be either pasta or a meal that requires mashed potatoes and gravy along side and mac and cheese. You know the kind of meal that really packs on the pounds and there is really no way around it to try and make it healthy!

2. Do you send Thank You's (handwritten or email)?
Oh jees, I have good intentions....really I do.
I forgot to send a thank you for a wedding gift once, and that person told my MIL at the time that she had a baby gift for me but wouldn't give it to me until she recieved my Thank You for the wedding gift.....over a year later!!! So needless to say, she finally got her Thank You!
I like to recieve them, do not like to write them!

3. If you had to be trapped in a TV show for a month, which show would you choose?
Probably Real Housewives of OC. I would love to live that lifestyle for a month, I mean really how much damage could I really do with all that in just 1 month. Seriously my family would be on vacation for a whole month! Then I could just walk away!

4. What is your favorite online recipe site?
I love The Pioneer Woman, she makes simple meals that everyone in the family will like! Her Chicken Spagetti is delish, even my super picky husband liked it!!
I am always excited to learn new recipes!!

5. If you had to choose: "Friends" or "Seinfeld"?
Friends hands down! I never was a Seinfeld fan!

More presents????

Yes, once Christmas and New Year's was over, the kids still had more presents to open. Scott, Mason, and I had gone to Amarillo to visit Scott's parents on New Years Day. Once the boys were home from Christmas break they were finally able to open them! They were so excited! The both got some really neat things that we are enjoying playing with....yes I said "we" because we all play with the toys!! Poor Nick looks pitiful in some of the pictures, he was diagnosed with Strep earlier during the day, he was just not feeling great!
